Vet is an acomplished retriever, but my favorite thing about Vet is his facial attributes when posing for my camera. He has graced two paintings, one Ducks Unlimited t-shirt, one coffee mug and soon - a GQ cover.

About Sporting Artisans

My photo
The Art of the Sporting Lifestyle
Sporting Artisans was created in November, 2007 by Chris Chantland. It was inspired by the sale of Five-Star General Patton t-shirts. Chris began painting full time as a commissioned sporting and dog artist, and one of these paintings (Patton) was featured on a line of Ducks Unlimited t-shirts. Chris was selling these t-shirts to the tune of about 2 or 3 a week. It was then that the idea was further developed to create a unique retail web site that featured all kinds and types of sporting art from some of the best artists and artisans around the country. Today the web site features more than 50 artists and artisans, and continues to add more - about one or two very week. Another feature is that people who purchase original works of art from the site can in most cases, earn 10% of the work's value to be used to purchase any of the other merchandise at Sporting Artisans. Sporting Artisans also features almost anything that can be customized, with new products being added frequently.
